Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform quality control tests on cement, asphalt or aggregate products in line with ASTM/AASHTO standards. You will report results, analyze data, and support best-practice quality initiatives across plants in the region.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1–3 years of experience, with DOT Aggregate Technician or MSHA certificates achievable within specified timeframes. Flex hours and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Tests according to established local or national standards (ASTM/AASHTO).
• Ability to analyze data and report results.
• Willingness to learn best practices in quality control.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ongoing lab and field sampling to ensure material meets specifications.
• Develop and document material control plans and data procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory/testing equipment.
• Maintain QA/QC databases and generate summaries.
