Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to perform quality control tests on product lines, following ASTM/AASHTO standards. You will report results, analyze data trends, and assist in implementing best practices for material performance across plants in the geographic area.

The role supports safety, calibration, and data documentation while promoting health and environmental policies. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–3 years of concrete/aggregate testing experience, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years concrete and or aggregate testing; Minnesota DOT Certifications or ability to obtain.
• Two years of post-secondary technical education or equivalent in experience preferred.
• Availability for flexible hours including some nights/weekends to meet customer needs.
• Customer service with regards to testing and product information.
• Completion of testing in a timely manner and multi-tasking.
• Responsible for maintenance, calibration and calibration documentation of testing equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests in accordance with local/national standards.
• Report results upward and analyze data trends.
• Troubleshoot related to aggregate material performance.
• Assist with developing and documenting material control plans and data.
• Calibrate and service laboratory/field testing equipment as needed.
• Maintain QA/QC test databases and provide summaries.
