Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician to execute QC tests and sampling per ASTM/AASHTO standards at our Lockport, NY site. You will report results, assist with data analysis and implement best practices to ensure product quality across the region.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, 1–3 years' experience, and certifications (DOT Aggregate Technician and MSHA) or plan to obtain them within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DOT Aggregate Technician Certificate (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
• MSHA Certificate (or ability to obtain within 6 months via Holcim training).

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests per local/national standards (ASTM/AASHTO).
• Carry out lab and field sampling to meet specs and report results.
• Develop and document material control plans and QA/QC data.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment; update QA databases.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for plants in the region.
• Assist Plant Superintendents and Managers as needed.
• Ensure safety policies and PPE compliance across work areas.
