Job summary

SRM Concrete is hiring Quality Control Technicians to ensure our ready-mix concrete meets top industry standards for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Training is provided, and we welcome entry-level candidates. Candidates with or willing to obtain ACI certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply with on-the-job training provided.
• ACI certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Concrete Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required.
• Prior quality control or construction materials experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished ready mix concrete using industry-standard methods.
• Interpret test results and compare to specifications and control limits.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot quality issues.
• Deliver quality control training to production staff as directed by management or technical services.
• Maintain accurate records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to improve quality control processes.
