Sorenson Communications is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to manage incoming equipment, ensure proper testing, and log results in the SDB system and Excel. You will process defective items, create RMAs, and prepare units for reuse, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
You will work with Warehouse Managers and Sorenson Engineering to resolve testing issues, maintain clean procedures, and support shipping operations.
Work with Warehouse team members to manage and control incoming equipment received from manufacturer. Ensure testing of incoming equipment is done correctly and effectively. Reports any defects and escalates to Sorenson Engineering as needed within testing parameters. Also ensures testing of defective equipment returns as established. Update information in SDB to accurately reflect inventory changes. Works with Sorenson Test Engineering Manager as needed to ensure equipment and testing are acceptable. Assist Sales Warehouse manager as needed with additional projects and tasks.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
