Sorenson Communications is seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage and test incoming equipment from manufacturers, perform IQC, log defects, and coordinate with Sorenson Engineering and sales warehouse teams to keep quality and inventory accurate. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, good typing, and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, forklift certification is preferred but not required, and the job includes lifting up to 50 lbs with occasional
Work with Warehouse team members to manage and control incoming equipment received from manufacturer. Ensure testing of incoming equipment is done correctly and effectively. Reports any defects and escalates to Sorenson Engineering as needed within testing parameters. Also ensures testing of defective equipment returns as established. Update information in SDB to accurately reflect inventory changes. Works with Sorenson Test Engineering Manager as needed to ensure equipment and testing are acceptable. Assist Sales Warehouse manager as needed with additional projects and tasks.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
