Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform inspections, sampling, and testing of aggregates and asphalt to ensure premium quality. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to contract specs.

You'll support daily QC activities and assist customers with professionalism. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, willingness to work varied shifts, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screening, background check, and “Fit for Work” physical.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, lift up to 75 lbs repetitively.
• Valid driver’s license and fleet safety compliance.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, overtime, and outdoors.
• Minimum age 18 and ability to provide valid I-9 documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with co-workers and managers in a dynamic team setting.
• Champion a safe work environment following OSHA and MSHA policies.
• Inspect, sample, and test aggregates, asphalt, and materials for quality.
• Test mixtures for contract specifications and quality control tolerances.
• Monitor daily processes to exceed agency and customer requirements.
• Record data in the test results database and keep logs accurate.
• Assist customers professionally and obtain necessary certifications.
