Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect, sample, and conduct routine and special laboratory testing on construction aggregate materials at production and shipping points. The role includes troubleshooting field issues and coordinating with outside testing agencies to verify results and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and preferred INDOT certifications, with a willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Current INDOT Certification preferred.
Experience with INDOT and CAPP preferred.
MSHA trained preferred.
Experience with aggregate lab testing preferred.
Basic mathematical skills required.
Positive attitude and ability to be a team player.
Available to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

Gather quality samples from large aggregate stockpiles.
Perform all INDOT required and aggregate quality testing while maintaining all required paperwork and computer files.
Must be current on all INDOT certifications.
Maintain proper order and cleanliness in the laboratory, stairs, and catwalks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
