Job summary

Interstate Concrete & Asphalt Co., a CRH company, is seeking a QC Tech to test gravel and concrete samples, ensuring the highest quality materials for projects. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a dynamic lab and field environment.

You will collect samples, run tests, document results, and communicate findings to supervisors while traveling to multiple sites. Overtime and weekend work may be required as part of production support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Good math skills and PC experience are helpful.
• Willing to obtain required certifications (ACI/Concrete Technician, WAQTC).
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples from concrete or aggregate plants.
• Perform and record aggregate gradations.
• Run field tests for concrete performance.
• Process samples with testing equipment and procedures.
• Communicate material issues to supervisors.
• Travel to various sites and assist production teams.
