CRH Texas Materials seeks a QC Tech to provide inspection, testing services, and documentation for plant facilities. You will develop relationships with customers, DOT personnel, and suppliers, and evaluate volumetric data to adjust mix production for compliance.

Responsibilities include sampling and testing aggregates and asphalt, maintaining test records, and pursuing required certifications. Travel and night/weekend work may be required; PPE and safety compliance are essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must obtain and maintain DOT certifications required to test asphalt.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport and give/receive feedback.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with email and simple spreadsheets.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, sample, and test aggregates, asphalt, or other materials for quality control.
• Sample and test mixtures to ensure contract specs and QC tolerance.
• Monitor and test processes to meet agency or customer requirements.
• Prepare and record information; maintain results in the test database.
• Obtain required certifications in a timely manner; maintain lab equipment and certifications.
• Follow quality control plans and safety policies; report to manager on daily tasks.
• Travel and work away from home as required; work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Wear PPE as designated by OSHA/MSHA and adhere to safety procedures.
