At MLT, we empower our people to fulfill their passion for service. We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist with experience supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs and knowledge of relevant policies and protocols.

Job Duties

• Preparing technical documentation, preferred in a program office or similar organization.
• Serving as part of a technical edit team to perform quality assurance, drafting, reviewing, and editing correspondence, presentations, and documentation for clarity, effectiveness, and compliance with applicable manuals and style guides.
• Demonstrating proficiency in MS 365, including TEAMS, SharePoint, and Office Suite.
• Exhibiting excellent communication, organization, and detail-oriented work under strict deadlines.

General Responsibilities

• Providing analytical support in engineering, science, business, financial, or program management disciplines.
• Performing analysis, design, development, testing, integration, logistics, and other related duties.
• Developing and reviewing acquisition documentation, reports, drawings, specifications, and procedures.

Education/Experience

• BS/BA degree required.
• Up to 2 years of related acquisition experience.
• Familiarity with relevant manuals and style guides.

Preferred Requirements

• Basic understanding of DoD Acquisition policies and programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Knowledge of secure coding standards and vulnerability analysis techniques.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Physical Demands

Requires speaking, hearing, walking, sitting, standing, and reaching. May need to lift objects up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Typical indoor office setting with quiet to moderate noise levels. Safety equipment use is required as appropriate.
