Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to support projects focused on dam and lock electrical work.

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the Contractor's and/or Client's Quality Control Program, including the coordination, performance and execution of construction inspection and testing services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly desired.
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience in quality control.
• Experience with dam and lock electrical work is required.
• USACE CQCM certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings.
• Verify materials meet approved submittals and specifications.
• Execute required testing procedures per contract documents and industry standards.
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation, including daily/inspection reports.
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties.
