Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction expertise to support dam and lock electrical projects.

You will implement and manage the Quality Control Program, coordinating inspection and testing services to ensure compliance with contract requirements and the firm’s standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction QC experience.
• Experience with dam and lock electrical work is required.
• USACE experience is a plus; CQCM certification or ability to obtain.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings.
• Verify materials incorporated into the project meet approved submittals and specifications.
• Execute required testing procedures in accordance with contract documents and industry standards.
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation, including daily reports, testing and inspection reports, and preparatory/initial meetings.
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties.
