Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a qualified Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to lead the Contractor's and/or Client's QC Program for dam and lock electrical work.

You will oversee inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and the firm’s standards of excellence. The role emphasizes implementation of QC practices, coordination with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring safe, high-quality project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field is highly desired.
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience in a QC capacity.
• USACE CQCM certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings.
• Verify materials meet approved submittals and specifications.
• Execute testing procedures per contract documents and industry standards.
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation including daily reports and testing/inspection reports.
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties.
