Job summary

Corvias Group LLC is hiring a Lead Quality Control Technician to oversee inspections across our housing maintenance portfolio. You will mentor technicians, enforce QC guidelines, and drive accountability to deliver high-quality work and resident satisfaction.

Requires 5+ years in maintenance, EPA Type I/II/III certifications, and ability to train teams. This on-site role demands flexibility for after-hours work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family or housing maintenance, construction, or trades.
• Minimum 6 months' experience as a Quality Control Technician.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Type I and II minimum EPA certification with Type II or Type III / Universal EPA Certification if installation/buildings have chillers.
• Certification or comparable experience in four or more trades including: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, building construction.
• Ability to read English, interpret documents and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of customer service by ensuring maintenance work is conducted in a manner that supports resident satisfaction and resiliency of housing.
• As a working team leader, perform quality control inspections of work orders identified through the quality control application or assigned by supervisor.
• Assist the Regional Director of Quality Control & EHS with organizing and prioritizing all facets of the quality control program for assigned installation.
• Perform visual inspection and/or mechanical inspection for selected turned homes ready for inbound residents.
• Maintain organization and attention to detail; manage and track quality issues through all phases of the inspection process.
• Communicate quality issues to the Quality Control Regulatory Compliance Manager or Regional Director of Quality Control & EHS with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliant quality outcomes across the portfolio and understand the business impact of quality deficiencies.
• Foster accountability and continuous learning and technical development.
• Mentor in all areas of maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry.
• Support the Quality Control in creation of training materials and participate in end user training.
• Complete all quality inspection documentation in accordance with policy guidelines.
• Work with maintenance teams to ensure adherence to policy, procedures, and SOPs as well as laws.
• Champion Corvias culture, mission, vision, and values; maintain high business professionalism.
