General Excavating Company in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's QC program across heavy civil and utility projects. The role may require 25% travel and work across Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.

You will partner with preconstruction and operations, conduct field QA reviews, ensure testing and documentation, and support turnover with complete quality records.

Competenze

• 5-7 years in quality control/quality assurance within heavy civil or utility construction.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with testing and inspection agencies and third‑party quality personnel.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

Mansioni

• Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Control Program and standards.
• Coordinate with preconstruction and operations to identify quality requirements, risks, and inspection needs.
• Conduct field quality reviews and audits to verify conformance with plans and specs.
• Verify materials, testing, and documentation are properly received and stored.
• Support turnover and closeout with complete QA records and lessons learned.
