NW Construction is a Montana-based heavy civil contractor seeking a seasoned Quality Control Manager to lead project-specific CQC programs on federal and heavy civil projects. The role ensures compliance with contract specs and industry standards while coordinating testing and documentation on active sites.

You will have authority to stop work to prevent nonconforming activities and will collaborate with project managers, field supervision, subcontractors, testing labs, and owner representatives

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience managing quality control on heavy civil projects.
• Experience with heavy civil, earthwork, concrete, infrastructure, dam, transportation, utility projects.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, and technical reports.
• Willingness to travel and relocate.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plans.
• Coordinate with testing laboratories and inspection firms to schedule inspections and testing.
• Prepare and maintain daily quality control reports and logs.
• Review submittals, plans, and testing requirements before construction begins.
• Ensure nonconforming work is identified and corrective actions implemented.
• Serve as the primary QC contact with owner representatives and project management.
