Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our national Mission Critical sector team in Westmont, IL. The candidate will bring 5+ years of field quality management experience on large, MEP-heavy projects and will lead quality program development for data centers.

The role requires a technical degree in construction, Civil, Architecture, or Engineering and experience in design, construction, and commissioning. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful field quality management experience in mission critical construction or large construction projects.
• Experience leading construction documentation and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the quality program for data centers.
• Manage daily QC responsibilities to ensure conformance with contract documents.
• Lead and train project team members on quality-related activities.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with specifications.
• Participate in pre-installation meetings with subcontractors and project team members.
• Ensure stakeholders understand quality management requirements for each scope of work.
• Verify materials comply with submittals and are stored and installed correctly.
• Conduct weekly QC meetings and distribute minutes.
• Provide weekly QC reports and manage corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Travel as needed to project sites.
