Job summary

Encore is seeking a Quality Control Lead to oversee QC for audio/visual lighting equipment, manage testing, and maintain inventory accuracy. You will train warehouse technicians, conduct regular audits, and ensure adherence to QC standards across all gear and road cases.

Responsibilities include coordinating weekly QC strategy, performing equipment maintenance, and communicating QC status to internal teams. A background in event technology with strong hands-on skills is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of event technology experience with AV/lighting expertise.
• Ability to train warehouse technicians on QC processes.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a hotel/warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize QC needs daily with Receiving and Pick Teams and partnership with Supervisor/Manager of Warehouse Operations.
• Assign tasks to Quality Control technicians for completion each day/week.
• Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with all Quality Control standards.
• Create standardized Quality Control processes for each item and provide training for Warehouse technicians.
• Perform technical & cosmetic QC/maintenance on Encore equipment and road cases; maintain firmware updates.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with Encore teams; report QC status to stakeholders.
