Job summary

Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals is seeking an Audio Visual Quality Control Technician to join our warehouse QC team. The role focuses on inspecting returned AV gear, ensuring it is functional and presentable, diagnosing and repairing issues, and coordinating storage and processing of items.

Applicants should have experience with professional AV equipment, basic inventory software knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with professional AV equipment and computer equipment.
• Basic understanding of inventory software for workload forecasting.
• Strong technical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC procedures on returned equipment.
• Ensure cases and equipment are presentable and in working condition.
• Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items.
• Organize and store tested equipment.
• Process missing or damaged equipment.
• Meet deadlines and adapt workload with client needs.
• Provide exceptional customer support.
• Follow direction of department leaders and managers.
• Assist other departments when necessary.
• Maintain safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
