Job summary

Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to ensure returned AV gear is tested, logged, and repaired as needed. The role supports multiple warehouse departments, focusing on equipment readiness and customer satisfaction.

The QC technician works primarily in a warehouse setting, with potential temporary reassignment. Strong technical skills, familiarity with AV and computer equipment, and basic inventory software knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Education/experience equivalent to high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with professional AV equipment and computer equipment.
• Basic understanding of inventory software for workload forecasting.
• Strong technical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures on returning equipment.
• Ensure all cases and equipment are presentable and in ideal working condition.
• Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items.
• Organize and store all tested equipment.
• Correctly process missing or damaged equipment.
• Be able to handle hard deadlines and plan workflow depending on client needs.
• Provide exceptional customer support for clients.
• Follow direction of the department leader and managers.
• Assist other departments when necessary.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
