Job summary

Oatly is seeking a Quality Control Floater to support QC technicians and ensure consistent product quality at the Millville plant. The role involves GMP compliance, site inspections, and lab testing across raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

You will maintain records in LIMS, perform audits, and collaborate with operations to resolve quality issues, contributing to a growing, health-focused brand with startup energy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2–4 years of science-related schooling preferred.
• 2+ years of lab testing experience and ability to read and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Provide backup QC support during absences and high-demand periods.
• Monitor daily SOP compliance and perform pre-operational and operational inspections.
• Conduct lab tests (APC, mold/yeast, viscosity, solids, pH, particle size).
• Perform allergen testing and create Certificates of Analysis for product release.
• Enter results in LIMS/Bizzmine; generate reports and support audits.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and purchasing to address supplier quality issues.
• Maintain instrument knowledge; conduct root-cause analysis and process improvements.
