Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a Floater QC Line Inspector to ensure product quality and compliance. This role shifts between A and D shifts to fill staffing gaps, performing weight, color, odor, and texture checks, seal integrity testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities include tear downs of seamer heads, data entry at QC stations, and collaboration with the team to uphold quality standards. PPE and safety are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product weights and record results.
• Check color, odor, texture, and seal integrity.
• Perform burst testing and fill temperature checks.
• Complete tear downs for seamer heads and report issues.
• Document data in quality logs and QC computer.
