Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group in Texas seeks an experienced Assistant Quality Control Manager to support QA/QC on heavy civil projects. You will review design/construction docs, prepare submittals, RFIs, inspections, and reports, and coordinate with PMs, contractors, and clients to resolve quality issues.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction quality control, familiarity with soil and concrete testing, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction quality control experience, 2-3 years in heavy civil projects.
• Familiarity with soil and concrete testing and QA/QC procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Control Manager across all project aspects.
• Review and/or produce design and construction documents.
• Implement QA/QC protocols during construction via submittals, RFIs, inspections, and testing in the field.
• Enforce compliance with quality standards and safety.
• Oversee subcontractors and field supervision.
• Maintain documentation and reports and coordinate with stakeholders.
