Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to support Clinton, IN laboratory operations. You will lead investigations, maintain validated analytical methods, and drive continuous improvement in QC processes.

You will collaborate with QA and Manufacturing, review data, and coach technicians to ensure product quality while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment. On-site role with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in cGMP laboratory operations and analytical methodology.
• Proficiency in laboratory computer systems (SAP, Empower, OneLab, Veeva) and strong technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory investigations and deviations with root cause analysis.
• Act as technical owner for laboratory methods and maintain validated analytical methods.
• Drive lean improvements and inspection readiness in the lab.
• Review analytical data and provide coaching to technicians.
• Model safety and eliminate hazards in the lab.
