Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to support the Clinton, IN laboratory. You will lead investigations, maintain analytical methods, and ensure regulatory compliance for high-quality animal health products.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Analytical Chemistry and hands-on experience with cGMP labs, and are proficient with SAP, Empower, OneLab, and Veeva. This on-site role offers relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related scientific field.
Experience in cGMP laboratory operations.
Proficiency with SAP, Empower, OneLab and Veeva systems.

Responsibilities

Lead laboratory investigations and deviations, performing root cause analysis to minimize recurrence and ensuring timely closure within regulatory guidelines.
Act as a technical owner for laboratory methodology, maintaining analytical methods in a state of validation and ensuring all data execution remains in a state of control.
Drive continuous improvement in laboratory operations and business processes through lean initiatives and inspection readiness activities.
Review and approve analytical data while providing technical coaching and training to laboratory technicians to safeguard product quality.
Serve as a safety role model, identifying and eliminating laboratory hazards to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
