Job summary

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, seeks a Manager of Quality Control at the Clinton site. You will lead a high-performing QC team, drive strategic quality plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and support manufacturing, packaging and stability testing.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver quality results, manage risk, and implement improvements in a GxP environment, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Science-related field preferred).
• Progressive leadership experience with a demonstrated track record in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Laboratory Operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, and microbiology; ability to manage complexity through strategic planning and tactical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a clear strategic vision for QC operations to maximize laboratory capability and maintain a competitive edge.
• Lead and develop a team of 5-12 department personnel, overseeing talent management, bench strength, and performance accountability.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and material release for manufacturing, packaging, and stability to prevent issues.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships to ensure the delivery of customer needs while balancing compliance and operational productivity.
• Drive strategic planning and yearly objective setting to meet evolving business needs and quality standards.
