Dow is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for its Knoxville, TN plant. The role requires hands-on laboratory testing, data entry into quality databases, and maintaining laboratory housekeeping to high standards.

You will perform qualification testing on raw materials and finished products, record QC data, and issue certificates of analysis. The position emphasizes teamwork, independent work with minimal supervision, and the ability to lead corrective actions and training for peers.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one of: 2 year college degree in relevant science or engineering, 3 years of military experience, 2 years of Laboratory experience, or 2 years in chemical manufacturing plants.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.
• Experience in quality testing and data management is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Record QC data on lab requests, SAP worksheets, and databases; prepare certificates of analysis.
• Ensure test equipment is in control and take corrective actions as needed.
• Back-up other analysts and perform housekeeping duties in the lab.
• Monitor laboratory safety and maintain supplies and chemicals.
• Troubleshoot and repair lab instrumentation; apply quality procedures and work instructions.
