Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Northlake, TX, is seeking a Quality Manager to champion our QMS and drive continuous improvement at the plant. You will lead efforts to meet customer requirements, communicate quality objectives, and mentor process owners to maintain robust quality across finished products.

You will monitor metrics, publish performance data, and advise the Plant Manager and Corporate Quality on system needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in a quality role with SOPs, APQP, and core quality tools.
• Automotive industry experience required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage projects and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a CUSTOMER-FOCUSED culture and communicate quality objectives with customers.
• Ensure Customer Specific Requirements are identified and met for finished products.
• Lead daily quality checks, data collection, and publish performance metrics.
• Monitor QMS performance and advise Plant Manager and Corporate Quality.
• Identify quality system needs to improve or support customer requirements.
