Job summary

Slate is seeking a Plant CI – Q-Excellence Lead to spearhead continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and related tools at our U.S. automotive plant.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, IT, and Supply Chain to ensure reliability, compliance, and data-driven decision making. Qualifications

• ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA experience required.
• Hands-on experience supporting QMS/QOS implementations, execution, or enhancements.
• Experience with quality data, reporting, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CI and Q-Excellence SME supporting QMS, QOS, PMT deployment across the plant.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality systems aligned with business goals.
• Monitor quality metrics, identify gaps, and support corrective actions.
• Support audits (ISO/IATF/VDA) and supplier audits to drive compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure scalable systems.
