Job summary

Keter Portersville facility seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function and the QMS. This hands-on role drives product and process quality, ensures compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and coordinates audits to uphold performance.

You will partner with operations, engineering, and corporate quality teams to deliver measurable improvements, develop quality metrics, mentor the Quality team, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing Quality Management Systems and quality compliance programs.
• Strong knowledge of RCA, CAPA, SPC, and FMEA methodologies.
• Experience leading customer, internal, and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's quality strategy and overall quality performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, waste, and the cost of poor quality.
• Develop and monitor quality metrics and KPIs to support operational and business objectives.
• Champion a proactive, process-focused quality culture across the facility.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving and improvement efforts.
• Own and maintain the site's Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing effectiveness and compliance.
• Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures, documentation, records, and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate customer, corporate, certification, and regulatory audits.
• Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and ensure effective resolution of nonconformances.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality systems and compliance programs.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for customer audits, assessments, reviews, and escalations.
• Lead customer complaint investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
• Coordinate customer inspections, testing activities, and quality-related initiatives.
• Ensure timely root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and issue closure.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsiveness, transparency, and measurable quality improvements.
• Establish and improve manufacturing quality controls, inspection methods, and testing strategies.
• Lead PFMEA activities for new and existing products.
• Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to improve process capability and reduce variation.
• Lead and develop the Quality team, including quality assurance, quality control, inspection, testing, and continuous improvement resources.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management to quality team members.
• Foster collaboration across departments to achieve quality and operational goals.
