Job summary

Thomas Foods International, USA is seeking a QA Technician to lead quality improvements within the Quality Department. Reporting to the Quality Manager/Supervisor, you will perform inspections, support FSQA activities, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

This high-visibility role requires strong analytical skills, urgency, and collaboration with plant leaders. A bilingual English/Spanish ability is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • 2–4 years of experience in food manufacturing preferred.
  • 1–2 years in FSQA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Pre-Operational and Operational Inspections and document findings.
  • Communicate Foreign Object discoveries and provide root cause identification and corrective action measures.
  • Inspect returned goods, document findings, and provide disposition.
  • Perform Shelf-Life testing and assist in sampling collection.
  • Provide Chemically Lean testing results and fat testing.
  • Execute ATP environmental swabbing in the facility (both food contact and non-food contact surfaces).

About the Job

Reporting directly to the Quality Supervisor, the QA Technician role is a high‑visibility, high‑impact leadership role within the Quality Department at TFI USA.

  • Experience with FSQA
  • Must have a high sense of urgency / bias for action
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
  • Bi-linguage English/Spanish strongly preferred

Salary/Compensation Range: $44,720 - $46,800 annually

This range represents the expected base salary rate for this position. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and other factors. This role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
