Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Quality Engineering Specialist in Costa Mesa, CA. You will embed within manufacturing to ensure quality of HW, lead MRB, containment, and root-cause analysis, and drive improvements across engineering and production.

The role requires 4+ years in manufacturing/quality, CAD and inspection data tools experience, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced team. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in manufacturing/quality engineering or related roles.
• Experience in HW development, quality management, and ISO/QMS standards.
• Proficiency with CAD and inspection data management tools.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage MRB process and drive containment for nonconforming materials.
• Review work instructions and provide feedback to inspectors.
• Lead containment of nonconforming items and verify parts.
• Assist root cause analyses and cross‑functional dispositions.
• Coordinate with engineering to complete investigative tasks on time.
• Maintain MRB data accuracy and report metrics weekly.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve quality.
• Develop and implement QA policies and continuous improvement projects.
• Perform internal audits and stay current with inspection tech.
