Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Quality Engineering Specialist to monitor and improve final products to meet strict quality standards at our Costa Mesa site. You will be embedded in manufacturing, driving containment, root cause analysis, and supplier coordination within a fast-paced team.

You will review instructions, train staff, lead MRB activities, and maintain data for tracability while collaborating with engineering to ensure timely resolutions and continuous quality gains.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing and/or quality/engineering roles.
• Experience supporting HW development and quality management in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD and inspection data management software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, detail-oriented.
• Experience with calibrated equipment and reading engineering drawings.
• AS9100/ISO9001/IATF 16949 or similar QMS experience.
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage MRB process and containment of nonconforming materials.
• Review work instructions and provide feedback to inspectors.
• Lead containment of nonconforming items and verify parts.
• Perform root cause analysis and cross-functional investigations.
• Coordinate with engineering on nonconformance dispositions.
• Create and maintain inspection plans for incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
• Train technicians on inspection plans and data capture.
• Audit processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor MRB metrics and communicate quality issues to stakeholders.
