Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Quality Engineering Specialist to monitor, inspect, and drive improvements in product quality on a fast-moving team. You will be embedded in manufacturing, owning MRB, reviewing instructions, and supporting root-cause analysis to ensure conformance.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, 5+ years in manufacturing/quality, CAD proficiency, and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant fields, or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or a quality/engineering related role
• Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting HW development and quality management
• Proficiency with CAD software and inspection data management software
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage the site MRB process and embed within manufacturing to resolve nonconforming materials
• Review work instructions and provide feedback to inspectors and production teams
• Lead containment of nonconforming items and perform root cause analysis support
• Coordinate internal triage with engineering for nonconformance dispositions and timely investigations
• Create and maintain MRB data, track metrics weekly, and report to stakeholders
• Support supplier related activities and ensure quality during material release
