Job summary

MJC is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the Quality Management System across Quality Engineering and Quality Control. You will supervise QA staff, liaise with OEM customers, and drive data-driven improvements and CAPA processes.

The role prefers HVAC manufacturing experience and requires strong leadership and statistical skills. Responsibilities include audits, management reviews, and ISO compliance efforts, with a focus on maintaining adherence to regulatory standards and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. in engineering.
• At least two years of experience in employee management.
• At least five years of experience in manufacturing, HVAC preferred.
• Fluency in statistics, PFMEA and root cause analysis required.
• Excellent communications skills required.
• Strong organizational, decision-making and time management skills required.
• Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency; ChatGPT knowledge required.
• Experience with ERP systems and statistical programs preferred.
• Black Belt certification preferred.
• Spanish speaker a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Quality Management System and supervise QA/QC teams.
• Manage QA staff across Quality Engineering and Quality Control departments.
• Serve as MJC contact to OEM customers and provide timely information.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize quality trends; present reports and recommendations.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing quality issues for MJC products.
• Conduct internal and external supplier audits and address nonconformities.
• Lead periodic management reviews of the QA/QC system and adjust as needed.
• Manage CAPA processes and ensure training and systems are in place.
• Oversee calibration and testing programs; support ISO compliance efforts.
