Module X Solutions LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality management system, lead audits, and manage quality teams. You will ensure products meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards while supporting production and timely delivery.

The role requires building a scalable leadership team, coaching supervisors, and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement with a strong emphasis on safety and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOMs, options, and shop details.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality management system and audits; ensure compliance with regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards.
• Lead a team of supervisors and QA inspectors to support production and shipping schedules.
• Drive Lean initiatives to improve efficiency and KPIs; mentor leaders within the organization.
• Manage nonconforming products and customer complaints; initiate corrective actions.
• Conduct internal audits of the QMS and maintain documentation and calibration records.
• Collaborate with Quality Director to review and improve the QMS effectiveness.

JOB SUMMARY

A Quality Assurance Manager oversees an organization’s quality management system, leads audits, manages quality teams, and ensures products or services meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for a team of supervisors and an organization of :50 teammates and growing. The QA department must meet the daily support requirements for products in production and help ensure compliance with drawings and specifications in a timely fashion. Position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of duties including, but not limited to, the following:

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safety first and last – take full ownership of the health and safety of our teammates by requiring full PPE compliance, ensuring teammates are trained on how to do their jobs properly, and by ensuring teams keep the work areas clean and free of trip hazards.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products on time. Own customer relationships.
• Early adoption and deployment of Lean tools to improve efficiency and key performance indicators (KPIs). Walk the talk.
• Build and develop a leadership team that can scale to the needs of our customer; grow and develop leaders in your organization; promote a culture of open feedback, uncovering and solving problems, lack of blame, and trust to build high functioning teams.
• Work with supervisors to perform daily scheduling of quality assurance inspectors to support production and shipping schedules.
• Helps coach supervisors and QC inspectors to perform their duty to the best of their ability.
• Takes appropriate actions on nonconforming product and customer complaints.
• Performs or arranges for the performance of internal audits of the quality management system at prescribed intervals.
• Assists the Quality Director with the management of the Quality Management System and reviews its effectiveness.
• Performs root cause analysis of nonconforming products and conducts studies to implement improvements in products.
• Verifies that all quality documentation is maintained and properly completed.
• Maintains equipment calibration and supporting record keeping ensuring equipment is calibrated in accordance with appropriate schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience

• 2+ years’ experience providing quality assurance and quality control on projects.
• 5+ years in management roles in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
• RCCA, 6-sigma or other experience is preferred.
• Certification in a Quality related area desired.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field desired.

Related Experience

• Knowledge and experience with manufacturing inspection processes.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and works well with or without supervision.
• Good organizational skills and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detailed oriented, able to read and interpret drawings, BOMs, options, shop details, etc.
• Must have a good attendance record and have a strong sense of personal responsibility.
• Personal computer skills required.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to work safely.
• Experience maintaining and updating a quality manual and supporting QMS documentation; familiarity with ISO 9000/9001 standards is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
