Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Quality professional to support the Project Management Team in monitoring quality performance. You will liaise with customers, vendors, and subcontractors, ensure adherence to procedures, and assist in audits and corrective actions.

The role requires a four-year engineering or technical degree with additional field experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint. Travel and project relocation are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Four years’ engineering or science degree or technical college degree plus two years’ experience in related construction field.
• Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship for employment to begin or continue employment with our company.
• Must be able to clearly communicate the status of quality on a project.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills, ability to research and work with detailed/technical matters and convey information to field personnel.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint software programs and learn other software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project teams and engineers/clients.
• Examine and inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies and cost saving measures; take corrective action.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to eliminate or minimize them.
• Maintain knowledge of the Kiewit/TIC Quality Management System and promote standardization.
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification log and files for assigned districts.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
