Job summary

Kiewit Power TIC seeks an entry‑level Quality professional to join the Project Management Team. You will report to management on quality performance, including program implementation, adherence to procedures, nonconformances, and corrective actions, and lead QA/QC activities.

The role requires strong communication, writing and organizational skills; travel and site support across projects nationwide are expected. Based in Lenexa, KS with field assignments.

Qualifications

• Must have an engineering or science degree or technical college degree plus two years’ experience in related construction.
• Ability to clearly communicate project quality status.
• Excellent written communication and technical writing skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; quick to learn others.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with management, project teams and clients.
• Examine field conditions, identify problems and take corrective action.
• Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of the Quality Management System and promote standardization.
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification logs and files for districts.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
