Job summary

Kiewit Power Division seeks an entry-level Quality professional to report to management on project quality performance, including QA/QC activities, nonconformances, and corrective actions. You will lead and manage the quality effort across projects and act as liaison to customers, vendors and subcontractors.

The role requires strong communication, willingness to travel, and the ability to maintain the company’s Quality Management System while supporting site teams and field personnel.

Qualifications

• Engineering or science degree required or technical college degree.
• Plus two years’ experience in related construction field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain communications with district management, project teams and engineers/clients.
• Examine field conditions for problems and cost saving actions; take corrective steps.
• Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions to minimize risk.
• Maintain knowledge of the Quality Management System and promote standardization.
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification logs and files for districts.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
