Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Quality professional to join the Project Management Team. You will report to management on quality performance, lead QA/QC activities, ensure adherence to procedures, and act as liaison to customers, vendors and subcontractors.

Position is in the Power division with travel across the US. Base compensation is $77,000–$86,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering or science degree or technical college degree.
• Two years of experience in related construction field.
• Able to clearly communicate the status of quality on a project.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint software programs.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project management teams and engineers/clients as required.
• Examine and inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered; take corrective action as needed.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take all necessary corrective actions to eliminate or minimize them.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Kiewit/TIC Quality Management System and procedures and promote standardization.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
