UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Coordinator Quality Assurance to support our Operations team in damage prevention and quality assurance initiatives. You will investigate damages, coach technicians, and ensure field audits comply with state laws and client obligations.

The role reports to the Supervisor of Quality Assurance and requires strong organizational and communication skills. Some weekend work may be required, and you will help improve service quality across field operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• 1+ years locating underground utilities or related experience.
• 2+ years locating underground utilities or related experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of utility locating procedures and marking standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot locates and interpret utility plats.
• Ability to coach and mentor technicians.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computer-based technology and new systems.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Operations to identify opportunities for damage prevention through field audits.
• Identify at-risk Field Technicians who need additional training to prevent damages.
• Perform field audits for accuracy of marks and compliance with state laws, regulations, and client obligations.
• Correct field risk findings and coach/mentor technicians.
• Provide ongoing feedback to Field Check partners to improve quality and reduce damages.
• Communicate audit findings with quality assurance and operations management, verbally and in writing.
• Balance multiple duties to meet daily productivity and deadlines.
• Provide witness testimony in small claims and litigated cases when needed.
• Promote safety culture and maintain high quality standards.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, regulators, and field personnel.
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain professional appearance.
• Support hands-on training in damage prevention and stay current on learning methods.
