Job summary

UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Coordinator Quality Assurance to support our Operations partners in damage prevention and quality assurance initiatives. This role focuses on investigating damages, coaching technicians, and improving field quality to reduce incidents.

You’ll report to the Supervisor of Quality Assurance and help maintain safety and compliance across projects. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, and can balance multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of experience locating underground utilities or related work.
• 2+ years of locating experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of utility locating procedures and marking standards.
• Proficient with locate equipment and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations partners to identify opportunities for damage prevention through field audits.
• Identify at-risk field technicians needing additional training to prevent damages.
• Perform field audits for accuracy of marks and compliance with state laws, regulations, and client obligations.
• Correct field risk findings and coach technicians.
• Provide ongoing feedback to Field Check partners to improve quality and reduce damages.
