UtiliQuest, LLC seeks a Coordinator Quality Assurance to support damage prevention and quality initiatives within our Operations teams. The role emphasizes organizing tasks, auditing field marks, coaching technicians, and communicating findings to management.

The position requires standing up to field demands, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to safety. Wage range: $24.00–$26.00 per hour; located in Alpharetta, GA with potential travel across the Eastern US.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ year experience locating utilities; 2+ years preferred.
• Thorough understanding of utility locating procedures and marking standards.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations to identify opportunities for damage prevention through field audits.
• Identify at-risk technicians needing additional training to prevent damages.
• Perform field audits for accuracy of marks and compliance with state laws and client obligations.
• Correct field risk findings and coach/mentor technicians.
• Provide ongoing feedback to Field Check partners to improve quality and reduce damages.
• Communicate audit findings with QA and management, verbally and in writing.
• Balance multiple tasks to meet daily productivity and deadline targets.
• Provide witness testimony in small claims and litigated cases when necessary.
• Promote safety culture and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain good relationships with clients, excavators, regulators, employees and the public.
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain professional appearance.
• Support hands-on utility locate training and education in Damage Prevention.
• Remain current on learning methodologies and technologies.
• Ticket production and weekend work may be required.
• Complete other duties as needed.
