Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support a high-impact program for USSF/SSC, USAF, and other stakeholders. You will help enhance, test, and deploy a large-scale SATCOM system within existing infrastructure, with emphasis on PKI and Agile practices.

The role focuses on developing and managing program processes, performing internal audits, and leading structured process improvements. Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines and locations are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years in relevant field; degree substitutions allowed.
• 2+ years in large-scale Agile programs.
• Experience creating QA program management plans and audits.
• Experience with peer reviews and software configuration audits.
• Familiarity with QA for software development and IT service management.
• Experience collecting data, metrics, and reporting.
• Strong multitasking in dynamic environments; self-directed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word/Excel/Visio/PowerPoint/Project).
• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate closely with the program team to implement and operate the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Recommend, facilitate, track, and report on continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Support program-specific tailoring of the QMS and deployment of QMS processes.
• Develop and collect performance metrics.
• Document and drive resolution of nonconformities and requirement escapes via root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Contribute to Leidos quality reporting, including Quality Management Reviews, In Process Reviews, Weekly Activity Reports, and Monthly Operational Reviews.
