Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a high-impact SATCOM program for USSF/SSC and USAF. The role focuses on PKI, Agile development, and coordinating resources across a complex, fast-paced environment. The candidate will oversee program execution, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will lead in Earned Value reporting, documentation, and management of subcontractors while ensuring contractual compliance and mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years as a Program or Project Manager leading programs and contracts of significant scope, type, complexity, and impact.
• At least 1 year of experience managing and controlling program funds and resources using advanced reporting methods, including Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience in requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, and schedule and financial performance monitoring.
• Proven leadership experience managing both direct reports and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all program administrative and business operations, including Subcontracts, Earned Value Management, Finance, and Security.
• Serve as a key Point of Contact for the Contracting Officer, COR, Government Program Manager, and company senior leadership.
• Lead program operations in the absence of the PM or when the PM is engaged in other priorities.
• Maintain full awareness of program activities and act as a secondary POC with Government stakeholders.
• Manage operational execution and financial performance for contract deliverables, cost, and schedule to meet KPIs and operating plans.
