Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Senior Test Engineer to support a high‑impact, multi‑agency program for space and defense customers. The role focuses on testing large-scale satellite communications systems, integrating PKI and Agile methods to ensure quality across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate will drive test priorities, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and deliver formal test artifacts in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, and at least 8 years of related experience.
• Experience testing across the full system development life cycle with test plans and processes.
• Experience authoring formal system tests to verify customer requirements.
• Experience documenting test results to support corrective actions and audits.
• Experience in Agile Scrum environments and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Engineers and stakeholders to define test priorities and schedules.
• Coordinate with System-Level Test Teams and Scrum Masters for test environment prep and test execution.
• Track cross-team dependencies affecting release test events.
• Interface with software, systems, IA engineers and stakeholders in an Agile setting.
• Apply BDD within the Agile framework to ensure test rigor and quality.
• Plan, execute, and oversee regression testing for customer builds and images.
• Engage with customer points of contact for Test Readiness and Results Reviews.
• Develop and deliver Test Plans, Test Descriptions, and Test Reports.
• Coordinate with Automated Test Development for CI-based test automation.
