Job summary

STAR, Inc. is seeking a detail-focused Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements across our group homes and apartments within Residential Services.

You will prepare for audits, develop and maintain policies, address safety concerns, and monitor staff adherence to quality standards, working with the Residential Director and managers to meet DDS and other agency requirements. A Bachelor's degree and supervisory experience are required.

We are seeking a detail-focused and experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to create, maintain, and monitor systems that support compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements across our group homes and apartments within Residential Services.

A Day in the Life of the Quality Assurance Coordinator

The Quality Assurance Coordinator (QA) serves as a key point of contact between STAR, Inc. and regulatory agencies, helping ensure compliance and appropriate oversight for the individuals we support. In this role, the QA Coordinator will prepare for audits, develop and maintain policies and procedures, address safety concerns as they arise, submit required information to various agencies, and monitor staff adherence to established quality standards.

The QA Coordinator works closely with the Residential Director and group home managers to ensure STAR's residential properties meet the requirements established by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other applicable regulatory agencies.

Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a working knowledge of DDS requirements, and supervisory experience in a similar environment. This is an important role in ensuring that proper procedures are consistently followed throughout STAR's residential programs, allowing direct-care staff to remain focused on creating meaningful daily experiences for the people we serve.
