Job summary

STAR, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to create, maintain, and monitor systems ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations across our residential services, including group homes and apartments in Norwalk, CT.

The role supports audits, policy development, safety issue resolution, and reporting to regulatory agencies. The QA Coordinator collaborates with the Residential Director and home managers to ensure STAR's properties meet DDS and other regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Supervisory experience in a residential or related setting preferred.
• Experience with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) preferred.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Compassion and the ability to recognize potential in each individual.
• Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
