The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year locating underground utilities, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Weekend/evening work may be required, with driving as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• Experience locating underground utilities (1+ year preferred).
• Understanding of locating procedures and marking standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot locates and interpret plats.
• Ability to coach technicians and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Flexibility for after-hours or weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations to identify damage prevention opportunities.
• Identify technicians needing additional training to prevent damages.
• Perform field audits for accuracy of marks and compliance with laws.
• Correct risk findings and coach technicians.
• Provide feedback to improve quality results and documentation.
• Communicate audit findings to QA and operations management.
• Balance multiple tasks and meet productivity targets.
• Provide witness testimony when needed.
• Promote safety culture and client relationships.
• Operate company vehicle safely and maintain appearance.
